t05 fx

[QUOTE=debraj]Boz...

05FX is better at punching? ???

now i really feel its weird, but i hope you are right. you said:
- it serves well (not as spinny as T05)
- its easy to open loops
- its easy to flick serves
- its easy to block
- now its easy to punch

while some of these charecteristics, i used to think, are contradictory; if they really embody in a single rubber ..... why the heck would i not use that rubber (BH) for eternity?

that's all I need in my BH .... and of course push.

- I think for long serves it creates some weird effects for me, it some times with confidence something I feel will be super long sill just barely pass off the end of the line.
05 is better in its hardness for feeling stable without huge bounciness.

open loops for sure just as you can with any rubber - spin didnt bother me nor did my spin bother them except they seemed to think I had more spin than i did.

again flick NO (roll the ball back YES)

flick is better with something that will actually go forward
Then again what is a flick?  If you just flat hit the ball t25 is better.

Punch for sure 05 fx almost makes you have to punch into the ball to get the ball onto the table.

I don't like this.  t64 had a nicer gradual blend between punch and loop.

push?  sometimes great and short and low some times nasty bounce.

Debraj - I'm pretty sure I'll be going back to t64 once i wear out the 2 sheets of 05 fx.  I know you will try this rubber no matter what anyone says.  But just for the record I have a feeling most players will try this rubber out of the success of the original and then just go back to the original or t64.
