killer spin table tennis tables

Table Tennis Tables

  • Buying a table tennis table will probably mean you can ask for discounts on various other products also in addition to free shipping.  You really should take advantage of this.  For example, you could buy a cover for your new table tennis table too, or blades etc.
  • Next, don't forget to ask for a Warranty.  Most table tennis tables will not stop functioning like a TV or computer, but ask for one anyway.
What do you expect from a more "expensive" (About, US $2,400 / AU$ 2,600) table tennis table?
  1. Be easy to set up
  2. durable metal structure
  3. best stability
  4. look like something Timo Boll would play on!

What other things should one consider when buying a table tennis table? Have you ever bought a table tennis table? Do you have any advice for Tenergy Club members before they buy a table tennis table? Would love to get some responses to this here. Boz

InnerForce Forcing me back to Tenergy 05 FH

I found newer spinny ESN Tensors better than Tenergy for all the blades i played with. What i didn't realize that all my blades with diff woods, composites and manufacturers were all between 6.4 to 7mm.
Now after i started playing with Innerforce ZLC, which is a fast, hard but thinner blade; I am finding Tenergy 05 is far well behaved and powerful.
Paired with a non-tenergy rubber in BH, the set-up is not too heavy or not too head heavy. And if this feeling doesn't change... well you get another re-convert to Tenergy.

Welcome back but!

Debrar, the but is because:
- you replied to a post about table tennis tables
- you change your mind about rubbers like something or other changes undies
(I cant think what changes their undies so often)
just joking - but no I'm serious, I would like to see you add a blog entry for this topic
keep cool Debraj, you know I always enjoy your long posts, especially when they are in Tenergy club! :)

butterfly TABLES cheap

I am looking for cheap Butterfly tables in Australia. Does Mega Spin also ship to Australia? or is there anywhere else I can get butterfly tables cheaply?

Wouldn't shipping costs be a killer?

I have heard that a good way to get a good table is to buy the table used in a tournament.
Don't the major manufacturers license the manufacturing to local Australian companies so the shipping costs are minimized?
Stiga tables sold in the US are made in Indiana but perhaps this is possible because they have a much bigger market here.

butterfly tables

we are not using stiga or butterfly at our club anymore and have new tables called xushaofa ...sounds weird but they are better i reckon than the other 2...a complete rip off design wise but much more stable and solid, bigger wheels, bolts etc etc
they sell delivered for $950 but everyone at our club thinks they are great and an improvement on the others. As much as i would only buy quality blades and rubbers THROUGH HERE as they are WAY CHEAPER, table tennis world has the tables...they also have a cute (and very cheap) ball machine which i think is also good value until it breaks

table tennis tables

You also need to consider the table tennis player in front of the table tennis table.
The table tennis table in the picture above is not for beginners or recreational players, who just want to have a hit and have fun their spare space around the house.  They don't need a tournament table. There are also non-standard small tables for people living in apartments. Also some tables are more focussed on durability and robustness so that public venues with large amounts of players showing little respect to equipment will be accommodated.
You can also consider refurbished competition table tennis tables which are perfect for clubs with a smaller amount of funds.
But if you are a tournament table tennis Player and want to play competitively or for professional match training, you really need to get a competition table so that you are use to the bounce and everything else is ITTF approved.
